Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Luna loves it! I have been feeding Luna taste of the Wild since we got her. She absolutely loves the taste. Especially in the Prey Line that you have! She also loves the wet food which I usually mix with her dry food! All in all she loves the taste, and I love that it is grain free and healthy for my fur baby!

Is there any breakdown on salt content? I need to put my dog on a low sodium diet, and she really likes these cans.

Paul, we are glad to hear your dog like the food! The sodium content is 0.24% as fed, 1.04% dry matter.

For our canned food, the number refers to the number of cans. So for a 90LB dog, we recommend feeding 3 ¼ - 5 cans per day.

How much of each, dry and wet, should I feed my 70 lb Lab?

Asked by: Gail

Hello and thanks for reaching out! Many pets enjoy the variety they receive when you feed more than one recipe, however, it is important to monitor the total calories to ensure you are not overfeeding. We’ll need further information from you to determine how many calories per day your Lab needs, please contact us by submitting an inquiry at https://www.tasteofthewildpetfood.com/contact-us/ or call 1-800-342-4808 (8 a.m. - 5 p.m. CT weekdays) and we’d be happy to help! Additionally, your veterinarian can help you determine a feeding plan for your Lab based on their needs.

Hi, my dog is 70 pounds. Is this okay to feed him alone at 3.5 - 4 cups a day, I know thats what you recommend calorie wise but with so much moisture is that enough nutrients for him? Should he be getting some dry? He typically refuses dry food.

What's the MAX fat content? I've got a dog with pancreatic issues who is supposed to be on a low fat diet, but I think Hill's I/D is garbage. Any other info on low fat diets for dogs is appreciated.

Asked by: Allison

Hello, Allison. This product is not formulated to be a low-fat diet, and we recommend working with your veterinarian to find a pet food that’s appropriate for your pet’s medical condition.
